Ctrl+click toggles a row; Shift+click selects a range. A plain folder click opens a child in Columns; Details uses a double-click. Right-click a row or empty pane space for its menu. Drag pane dividers to resize; use horizontal scrolling to reach ancestors.

The preview's close button returns focus. In narrow windows preview can remain temporarily suspended until there is room for it. The sidebar button cycles expanded, rail and hidden modes.

Application shortcuts such as Ctrl+O remain available from text fields; ordinary navigation, Space, Delete and F3 do not replace text editing.
